We’d already finished a hand-applied Venetian plaster finish in the living room when the new fireplace arrived — and it didn’t match what the client had been expecting. Installing it correctly meant cutting into plaster that was already complete. Redoing that Venetian plaster from scratch would have been a significant, unnecessary expense. Instead, our team found a way to route the fireplace installation through the ceiling, avoiding the plaster entirely and keeping the client’s original finish intact.
